Andrew Brown Physiotherapist

Andrew Brown

Director and Principal Physiotherapist

Since completing his Masters of Physiotherapy, Andrew has refined his physiotherapy skills by working within a number of private musculoskeletal clinics and hospitals, as well as treating one of Brisbane’s premier league soccer teams.

Andrew's warm and compassionate nature, combined with his expertise, ensures that you'll receive exceptional care and support throughout your treatment journey. He is committed to empowering you to achieve your goals and improve your quality of life. With Andrew as your physiotherapist, you'll experience a personalized and holistic approach to your wellbeing as he celebrates wins with you - from being able to lift a child pain-free, to returning to a playing field.

Outside of the clinic, Andrew is a family man with three young children. When he’s not making the most of his quality time with his kids, you might find Andrew training in the gym, playing sports, or passionately playing his drums.

Alayne MacDonald Physiotherapist

Alayne MacDonald

Physiotherapist

After completing a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Otago in 2009, Alayne has worked locally refining her skills in private practice. Best known for her caring and empathetic approach, Alayne takes pride in educating and empowering her patients, helping them achieve their health goals and improve their overall well-being.

With Alayne as your Physiotherapist, you can expect a holistic approach to your care. Her postgraduate studies in pain sciences with the University of South Australia compliment her ability to provide comprehensive and personalised treatment.

Outside of work, Alayne and her husband enjoy the outdoors with their black lab, Diesel, and can often be found unwinding at a local cafe.

Imogen Brew

Physiotherapist

Imogen graduated from the University of Otago in 2022 and has experience working across community, private practice settings, as well as providing sideline medical support in rugby union.

With a background in ballet, netball and running Imogen understands the important role movement plays in performance, recovery and overall wellbeing. This appreciation for movement has shaped her clinical interests which include head and neck conditions, vestibular rehabilitation, neurological conditions and ankle injuries. She enjoys helping people regain confidence in their movement and return to the activities they love.

Imogen is passionate about delivering personalised, evidence-based care and values working collaboratively with her patients to achieve meaningful goals.

Outside of the clinic, Imogen enjoys dancing, swimming, reading by the beach, and searching for the Sunshine Coast’s best iced latte.

Rhyannon Orr

Physiotherapist

Graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Australian Catholic University in 2025, Rhyannon is passionate about helping people recover from injury, move with confidence, and achieve their individual health goals. She takes a supportive and collaborative approach to care, tailoring treatment to each person’s needs and helping them feel empowered throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Having danced throughout her childhood, Rhyannon has developed a strong appreciation for movement and the positive impact it can have on health and wellbeing. She particularly enjoys working with children and love helping young patients build confidence through movement in a fun and supportive environment.

Rhyannon is committed to delivering evidence-based care and supporting her patients achieve meaningful, long-term outcomes.

When she is not in the clinic, Rhyannon enjoys keeping active, spending time with her family and friends, and listening to live music.

Ayla Galbraith

Physiotherapist

After graduating from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Ayla began her career in private practice in New Zealand, where she also taught Clinical Reformer Pilates.

With a background in gymnastics and coaching, Ayla developed an early passion for understanding how the body moves, adapts and recovers. She enjoys working with people of all ages and activity levels, with a particular clinical interests in hypermobility, acute musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic pain.

With Ayla as your physiotherapist, you can expect compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to your individual goals. She combines hands-on treatment, exercise, and education to help you better understand your body, build confidence in your recovery and achieve lasting results. Whether you are returning from injury, or simply wanting to move with greater ease, Ayla is committed to helping you get back to doing what you love.

Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find Ayla exploring the outdoors, taking an art class, practising yoga, climbing or spending time in the gym.

Thomas Wilson

Exercise Physiologist

Working closely with our team of physiotherapists, Tom ensures patients are training safely within a coordinated, multidisciplinary approach. He develops personalised exercise programs that support the management of chronic conditions, improve everyday function, and encourage long-term physical activity. Whether one-on-one, in a group, through hydrotherapy or from the comfort of your own home, programs are designed to fit each patient’s goals and lifestyle.

Passionate about empowering people through exercise, Tom helps patients take control of their health and build confidence through movement. He creates a supportive environment where patients feel motivated to create lasting, positive changes.

Outside the clinic, Tom enjoys training in the gym, spending quality time with his partner, and rarely misses a weekend nrl match.

Freya Brown

Managing Director

With over 15 years’ experience in senior leadership roles within allied health, Freya has built a career focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while supporting teams to thrive. Her experience spans operational leadership, organisational development, governance and commercial growth, including leading a Queensland rollout of a publicly listed allied health organisation.

As Co-Founder of Evolve Physio & Co, Freya leads the business with a strong focus on people, sustainability and innovation in healthcare. She holds an MBA and brings a practical, values-driven approach to building services that genuinely support both patients and practitioners.

Outside of work, Freya is a dedicated mother who loves keeping active and working out in the gym.
